Fifth Installment of 'Toy Story' Franchise Announced

According to РБК-Україна — Lite: The announcement of the fifth film in the 'Toy Story' series reveals fresh directions for the franchise, introducing a new rival: a high-tech frog-shaped tablet named Lilypad. Beloved characters Buzz, Woody, and Jessie return, alongside a newcomer called Dusty Drawers. The movie is co-directed by Andrew Stanton, known for his work on 'WALL-E', 'Finding Nemo', and 'Finding Dory', and Kenna Harris, who worked on the short film 'Ciao, Alberto'.

Music and Voice Cast Highlights

The film’s soundtrack promises to be vibrant as well. It includes Taylor Swift’s song 'I Knew It, I Knew You', dedicated to the character Jessie. Oscar-winning composer Randy Newman returns to score the film, underscoring music’s vital role in this franchise.
