Israel and Hezbollah Clash Escalates

According to Главком: Following a rocket and drone barrage launched by Hezbollah militants from Lebanese territory, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz declared the group's Secretary-General, Naim Qassem, a target for elimination. In response, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) initiated an offensive operation against the militant group. Overnight on March 2, Israeli forces struck Hezbollah positions within Lebanon, including in the capital, Beirut. This confrontation occurs against the backdrop of Hezbollah's role as a powerful Iranian-backed militia and political force in Lebanon.

The IDF intercepted one projectile that crossed the border, while others landed in open areas without causing damage or casualties. IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi emphasized the Israeli military's readiness for a prolonged confrontation on its northern front.

“The terrorist organization Hezbollah will pay a heavy price for attacking Israel, and Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem, who made the decision to attack under pressure from Iran, is now a target for elimination.”

These events mark a significant escalation of regional tensions, driven not only by military actions but also by political decisions influenced by external actors like Iran. Given the threat posed by Hezbollah and Israel's forceful response, the situation risks further destabilization, requiring international attention to prevent a broader military conflict.

“Whoever follows the path of former Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei will soon join him in the depths of hell, along with all those removed from the axis of evil.”
