Overnight on March 2, Israeli forces struck Hezbollah positions within Lebanon, including in the capital, Beirut. The IDF intercepted one projectile that crossed the border, while others landed in open areas without causing damage or casualties. IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi emphasized the Israeli military's readiness for a prolonged confrontation on its northern front.
