Top-10 Chinese Car Companies by Quality
Among the highest quality Chinese automotive companies, Geely ranks first with 52.2 points. Chery takes the second position with 51.7 points, while Nio occupies the third spot with a result of 51.6 points. The top 10 also includes:
- GAC (49.9 points)
- Haval (48.5 points)
- Changan (47.4 points)
- Hongqi and Li Auto (46.4 points)
- Deepal (45.7 points)
- Xpeng (44.7 points)
It is worth noting that annual vehicle sales in China fell by 8.5% in November, marking the second consecutive monthly decline and the largest in the last ten months. These results may indicate general trends in the market that affect consumer demand and vehicle choices.
The results of the J.D. Power study indicate high competition among Chinese car manufacturers, particularly Geely, Chery, and Nio, which demonstrate the best quality. This may influence consumer preferences, especially in light of declining sales in the market. The drop in sales points to potential challenges faced by automakers in China, requiring them to adapt strategies to attract buyers and improve product quality.
