The government allowed museums and libraries to have cafes and dormitories: what will change

According to Кабмін: The government of Ukraine has expanded the capabilities of state and municipal cultural institutions regarding the provision of paid services. Now these institutions will be able to sell souvenirs, organize cafes, digitize museum items, showcase a wider range of film and photo productions, provide editing services, and prepare publications for printing, as well as offer temporary accommodation and meals. Museums, libraries, and other institutions will also have the opportunity to sell products through commission contracts or agency agreements.

Cultural institutions can now rent out flip charts, tables, chairs, projectors, lighting equipment, dishes, decorations, and other necessary items for events, as well as temporary facilities for entrepreneurial activities. These changes will promote the development of partnerships and expand the range of offerings for visitors.
