The government launches the Social Water program: how the quality of water will change by 2035

According to Міністерство інфраструктури: The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the Concept of the State Targeted Social Program for Improving Drinking Water Supply in Ukraine until 2035, developed by the Ministry of Economic Development. This document is an important step in the development of the drinking water sector, aimed at providing Ukrainians with quality drinking water at the European level.

This Concept will serve as a foundation for creating the 'Social Water' program, which involves modernizing water supply systems. Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Kuleba emphasized that this opens up the possibility for systematic transformation of the sector and the development of a comprehensive state program aimed at modernizing water infrastructure in Ukraine in line with European standards.

“This is a significant step that initiates a systemic transformation in the field of drinking water and drinking water supply, which will allow people to have access to quality and safe water at the level of European norms”

The implementation of this program will not only improve access for the population to quality water but also stimulate investments in the production of technological equipment for the water supply sector.
