How to Use the New 'Patient's Office' Platform for Online Medical Services

According to Главком: A new digital platform called the 'Patient's Office' has been launched, enabling Ukrainians to file declarations with doctors and update their medical information remotely. This initiative represents a significant move toward simplifying access to healthcare and improving user convenience. The platform is available to adult citizens aged 18 and over, as well as teenagers aged 14 to 18 who possess a qualified electronic signature.

Following the completion of its beta-testing phase, the platform is now fully open. Within their personal account, users can view their personal details and existing doctor declarations. Information from their medical records will also be integrated into the account in the future. Access to the platform is secured through the state's Diia portal or other official e-Cabinet systems, ensuring data safety and confidentiality.

Through this system, users can review and update their personal data in the national electronic health system, as well as see their current and previous doctor declarations. The platform allows for finding a doctor and submitting a declaration online, eliminating the need for an in-person visit to a medical facility. Furthermore, users can manage access permissions for any other e-cabinets they have authorized to process their personal data.

National 'Health Screening 40+' Program Announced

Alongside the launch of the 'Patient's Office', the Ministry of Health also announced a new national program called 'Health Screening 40+'. This program is designed for the early detection of cardiovascular diseases and diabetes, and includes support for mental health. The first screening notifications are being sent via the Diia app, allowing users to receive timely updates about their health status.

Maria Karchevych noted: 'We continue our work to make the healthcare sector understandable and convenient for people, with key services available online.'

The introduction of the 'Patient's Office' and the screening program promises to significantly improve access to medical services across Ukraine. These digital health tools are part of a broader modernization of Ukraine's public services, which has accelerated in recent years.
