The Cabinet has postponed POS terminals for individual entrepreneurs: new deadlines and conditions
Postponement of the use of payment terminals for individual entrepreneurs
According to Главком: The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided to postpone the mandatory use of payment terminals for individual entrepreneurs (IE) of the first group. This decision pertains to the deadline by which individual entrepreneurs must implement POS terminals and will last until the end of martial law, as well as for an additional three months after its cancellation.
This step was taken in response to requests from small businesses, for which servicing payment terminals creates additional financial pressure. As Yuliia Svyrydenko noted, this decision is intended to support entrepreneurs during a difficult economic situation.
Plans for the future
In addition, the implementation of new tax rules for individual entrepreneurs is planned no earlier than 2027. Thus, entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to adapt to new conditions without urgent financial burdens.
This decision by the Cabinet of Ministers is an important step in supporting small businesses in Ukraine, especially in the context of martial law and economic instability. The postponement of the implementation of payment terminals gives entrepreneurs more time to adapt to new requirements, which can reduce financial burdens and contribute to their survival in difficult conditions. It is important that new tax rules will not be implemented before 2027, which also allows businesses to plan their future without urgent pressure from the state.
