Legislative Update on Disability Employment Rules

According to Міністерство соц. політики: Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers has approved amendments that exempt employers located in areas of active hostilities from making contributions meant to support the hiring of persons with disabilities for the duration of martial law. This move is designed to reduce the financial strain on companies continuing to operate under extremely difficult conditions.

Under the revised regulations, workers who carry out their job duties or official functions directly within active combat zones will not be factored in when employers calculate their mandatory disability employment quota. These provisions are set to remain in force throughout the martial law period and for an additional three months after it ends. Analysts suggest this should enhance the operational stability of businesses in conflict-affected regions.
