According to Главком: Between June 1 and 7, the Ukrainian capital will host a diverse lineup of cultural happenings-from art exhibitions and theatrical premieres to concerts and stand-up comedy shows. This period offers both locals and visitors a chance to experience the city’s vibrant creative scene. Highlights include:

Exhibition and Theater Details

The 'State of Soul' exhibition runs until June 28 at the National Museum of Ukrainian Decorative Art. 'ARS: Ukrainian Embroidery' remains open to visitors through August 31, 2026. 'Precious Legacy of Cossack Ukraine,' housed in the Treasury of the National Museum of the History of Ukraine on the grounds of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, is accessible until January 1, 2028-open Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:45 PM. The Ivan Marchuk exhibition 'I Shook This World,' celebrating his 90th birthday, continues until June 21, 2026.

On the theater front, 'Cortes' takes the stage on June 3 at 6:00 PM at the Zoloti Vorota Theatre. The premiere of 'Mermaid Meadows' is set for June 4 at 6:00 PM at the Kyiv Opera. 'Star Passions' will be performed on June 5 at 6:00 PM at the Officers' House of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The musical 'Chicago' runs on June 5 at 5:00 PM and June 6–7 at 6:00 PM at the Kyiv National Academic Operetta Theatre.

Among the concerts, Kalush Orchestra performs on June 5 at 8:00 PM at Feels Garden on the VDNG grounds. The Homin Choir will hold concerts on June 6–7 at 6:00 PM at the Palace 'Ukraine.' Kazka marks its 10th anniversary with a show on June 7 at 6:00 PM at Feels Garden. Known for the international hit 'Plakala,' the band has amassed over one billion streams across digital platforms. Their anniversary tour has already covered 22 cities in the United States and Canada.

Additionally, on June 3 at 7:30 PM, the stand-up show 'The Test' takes place at Dorothy Pub, while the comedy event 'No Problem' is scheduled for June 7 at 7:30 PM at Bochka Pub.
