Renovation work will be carried out at the transfer hub between the metro stations 'Palace of Sports' and 'Square of Ukrainian Heroes'. According to preliminary data, the renovation will last until mid-March.

The major renovation of escalators is conducted every 10-12 years or after a mileage of 150 thousand kilometers. As part of this renovation, the main elements of the escalator will be updated, namely:

• stairs belt,
• handrails,
• gearbox,
• traction chains.

The city authorities and 'Kyiv Metro' demand the recovery of property damage from the company 'Kyivmetrobud'.
