According to Українська Прем'єр-Ліга: Karpaty kicked off their new Ukrainian Premier League campaign in style, earning a 4-1 away victory over Kryvbas. The Lviv side struck three times in the second half after a tense first period that ended level at 1-1.
Kryvbas took the lead through a 21st-minute penalty converted by Yaroslav Yurchec. Karpaty equalized deep into first-half stoppage time when Andriy Chachua scored from the spot at 45+3.
