Taxpayer card in Diia and CNAPs: how to obtain the document

The government has adopted a resolution on the taxpayer card

According to Главком: The government has adopted a resolution allowing the taxpayer card to be obtained through the 'Diia' application and at the Centers for Administrative Services (CNAP). Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov announced that this document will be available in 'Diia', simplifying its acquisition for Ukrainians.

Process of obtaining the card

The process of obtaining the taxpayer card will be simple, and the document can be obtained both online and offline. The Cabinet of Ministers has also made a decision regarding the issuance of a European protocol through 'Diia'. The electronic form of reporting from participants in a traffic accident will have the same validity as the paper one.

Mykhailo Fedorov noted that the taxpayer card is one of the most in-demand documents in the lives of Ukrainians. It is needed for:

• enrollment in university,
• opening a bank account,
• getting a job,
• other life situations.

After obtaining the card, it will always be available on the smartphone, and if needed, it can be printed or shared in digital format. In the near future, there will also be an option to order an electronic taxpayer card for adults and children in case of loss or damage to the document.

Online: it will be possible to order a document for a child in 'Diia'. Offline: it will be possible to issue a taxpayer card for a child in CNAP. Information about the launch of the service in 'Diia' and CNAPs will be announced soon.

This government initiative is aimed at simplifying bureaucratic processes and reducing the time necessary to obtain required documents. The implementation of electronic services, such as 'Diia', is an important step towards the digitalization of public services, which may positively impact the overall level of satisfaction with state services. Moreover, the ability to obtain a taxpayer card for children will enhance accessibility to this important document for the younger generation.
