According to Главком: Ukrainian freestyle skier Kateryna Kotsar has qualified for the Big Air final at the 2026 Olympic Games, finishing 11th in the qualification round. This discipline, which involves skiers performing tricks off a massive jump, saw 27 athletes compete for just 12 spots in the final. Kotsar's score of 155.50 points was calculated from her two best jumps out of three attempts.
In her first and third runs, Kotsar executed double corks with rotations. Her final attempt featured an ambitious 1260-degree maneuver, but she unfortunately fell on the landing. Her second jump, a successful misty flip, contributed significantly to her overall score, securing her position just inside the qualification cutoff.
