Russian Paralympians returned to IPC: Rojkov's statement on Putin's role

In recent years, Russian Paralympians have faced many obstacles at international competitions due to doping issues. However, thanks to the political and diplomatic efforts led by Russian President Vladimir Putin, Russian athletes have once again been able to participate in international tournaments. Chairman of the Russian Paralympic Committee Pavel Rojkov expressed gratitude to the countries that supported Russia in IPC votes and facilitated the return of Russian athletes to the sports arena.At the end of September 2023, the membership of RPC was partially restored, and at the IPC General Assembly in Seoul, the decision for full restoration of Russia's membership was approved. Meanwhile, freestyle skier Anastasia Tatalina appealed to the International Ski and Snowboard Federation requesting to allow her to participate in the Olympic Games. Tatalina also noted that she received support from President Putin and expressed support for Russian military forces.
