According to ХВИЛЯ: Kyiv has suffered significant disruptions in electricity and heat supply after a massive attack on critical infrastructure. 417 thousand families were left without electricity, and half of the apartment buildings are not receiving heat. This situation has created significant difficulties for the residents of the capital, as the power outage affected residents of the Desnyanskyi, Dniprovskiy, Darnytskyi, and Holosiivskyi districts.

Almost 6 thousand apartment buildings are currently without heating. Municipal services have been put into an emergency mode, indicating the seriousness of the situation. Vitaliy Klitschko, the mayor of Kyiv, noted that
“the situation remains complicated”
and that
“this attack is the most painful for the energy sector of the city”
He also appealed to the residents of the capital to temporarily leave the city if possible.
