According to Главком: In Kyiv, from January 2 to January 31, 2024, points for accepting Christmas coniferous trees for ecological recycling will operate in 72 locations. Residents can submit used trees in every district of the capital. This initiative aims to reduce the negative impact on the environment and ensure that every tree for disposal gets a 'second life'.

Last year, nearly 9 thousand coniferous trees were brought for recycling, which demonstrates the activity of Kyiv residents on environmental issues. The acceptance points are located in all districts of the capital, including:

• Darnytskyi
• Desnianskyi
• Dniprovskyi
• Obolon
• Pecherskyi
• Podilskyi
• Svitoishynskyi
• Solomianskyi
• Shevchenkivskyi

Additionally, forestry facilities are also operating in Kyiv for the disposal of trees.

We urge residents and guests of Kyiv to transfer live coniferous trees for ecological recycling after the holidays.

It is important that in 2024, prices for pines start from 500 UAH per linear meter, while fir trees start from 750 UAH. This may encourage Kyiv residents to actively participate in the recycling process, as a responsible attitude toward nature is the key to a healthy environment.
