According to Главком: Following Russian attacks on January 9 and 20, which left 3,260 buildings in the Ukrainian capital without heat, the city is now working to restore its central heating supply. The process is scheduled to begin on January 22, providing critical relief to residents who have endured freezing conditions. In a positive development, the city's water supply has already been fully restored to all consumers. To further bolster its energy resilience, Kyiv has received two cogeneration units from the German development agency GIZ. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko stated that municipal and energy workers are continuing their efforts to restore heating and power to the city's residents.
