Уроки з українського конфлікту: Китай переглядає свої військові підходи на новий лад.

Revision of China's Military Doctrine

According to Главком: China is revising its military doctrine by analyzing Russia's experience in the war against Ukraine. As a result, the People's Republic of China (PRC) has abandoned the concept of short-term operations in favor of 'total war' strategy, which involves full mobilization of resources. This means that Beijing is trying to adapt its military approaches to modern challenges, taking into account the lessons learned from the conflict in Ukraine.

Sanctions and Strategic Moves

An important step in this new strategy has been the introduction of sanctions by the PRC against 20 defense corporations and 10 U.S. officials. These measures were a response to the deal to sell arms to Taiwan worth $11.1 billion, which is the largest in the history of U.S.-Taiwan relations. This arms sale has been the second during Donald Trump's administration, highlighting Washington's serious intentions to support Taiwan amid rising tensions with China.

China's strategy involves strictly limited and clear political objectives, indicating Beijing's desire to clearly define its goals in the military sphere. The Chinese Ministry of Defense officially protested to the United States regarding these events, indicating tension in the relations between the two states. This underscores the importance of the PRC's military strategy in the context of modern geopolitical challenges.

The shift of China to the 'total war' strategy indicates that the country is strengthening its military position amid growing competition with the U.S., particularly in security issues in the Asia-Pacific region. Sanctions against American defense companies also indicate the PRC's readiness to respond to external challenges, which could lead to further escalation of tension and changes in the dynamics of global security. It is important to monitor the situation's development, as it may affect international relations and security as a whole.
