Collaboration in Psychological Support
Beyond material aid, a major milestone was reached in April 2023 with the opening of Ukraine's first-ever Kyiv Center for Stress Resilience, established with support from the Israel Trauma Coalition. Over three years of operation, the center has trained approximately 12,000 professionals. Mayor Klitschko highlighted that 'thanks to the Israel Trauma Coalition, in three years of the Center's operation, around 12,000 specialists have received training in psychological resilience. These include experts in critical infrastructure, security and defense, social policy, education, healthcare, municipal safety, and leaders of condominium associations.'
These efforts underscore the deep collaboration between Ukraine and Israel during a period of immense national hardship.
The awarding of this badge to the Israeli ambassador symbolizes the strong partnership and mutual support between the two nations in defense and humanitarian affairs. Israel's ongoing assistance to Ukraine encompasses not only material contributions but also educational programs like the Kyiv Center for Stress Resilience, demonstrating a commitment to enhancing psychological support for professionals across various sectors. This cooperation is poised to be a key factor in Ukraine's stabilization and recovery amid the war.
