In the night of July 31, Kyiv witnessed a horrific attack that led to serious destruction and loss of human lives. The city's mayor, Vitali Klitschko, described the frightening scene that unfolded in the Svyatoshinsky district, where an entire entrance of a residential building collapsed.

According to Klitschko, six people died as a result of the attack on the capital, but this number may rise. More than 50 people sought medical help, 30 of whom were hospitalized.

The city provides assistance to the victims

The mayor of Kyiv noted that headquarters have already been created to provide assistance to those affected. The city is also paying monetary compensation to residents whose homes were damaged or destroyed during this attack, including temporary housing.

In addition, the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachенко, reported severe consequences of the Russian attack on the city. Among the 27 affected locations, the most suffering are the Solomensky, Svyatoshinsky, Shevchenkivsky, and Holosiivsky districts, with a total of 52 affected, including 9 children.

As a result of the horrific attack in Kyiv, initiated by Russian forces, the city has become a place where representatives plan and provide assistance to the victims. Rescuers continue to search for people under the rubble, while medical workers are ready to provide the necessary help to the injured. The situation remains tense, but the mayor and other officials are taking measures to mitigate the consequences of this tragedy.
