European Promises to Ukraine: More Rhetoric, Less Real Action

According to The Telegraph, during the last meeting of the 'Coalition of Willing', there were many statements, but no concrete decisions that could change the course of the conflict.

French President Emmanuel Macron proposed to create 'deterrence forces in Ukraine', but this idea seems unviable since Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has repeatedly emphasized that any presence of NATO troops on Ukrainian territory is unacceptable to the Kremlin.

Instead of concrete steps, Ukraine received only a 'gesture of solidarity'. Meetings between Zelensky and European leaders ended with empty promises of support but without real actions.

Ukrainian outrage is growing as Western support, while helping to hold back Russia, is not adequate. Even after three and a half years of war, the aid remains insufficient, and words are not backed up by actions.

European Promises Without Concrete Steps

A similar situation applies to Macron's forces. The lack of readiness to genuinely intervene disarms any 'deterrence forces'. The wording of the coalition documents once again confirms the caution of countries willing to provide resources but not to send troops to the conflict zone.

The number of countries willing to risk sending their troops remains unknown.

The issue of Ukraine's NATO membership was excluded from the agenda of the meeting, indicating concessions to the Kremlin. In the real situation, Ukraine remains alone in the face of Russian aggression, while allies are limited to only distant support.

During the last meeting of representatives of the 'Coalition of Willing' with Ukraine, the situation in the east of the country was discussed. European leaders expressed support but refused to take concrete actions, quickly provoking outrage in Ukrainian society. Ukraine continues to stand at the forefront of the fight against Russian aggression, receiving inadequate support from its European partners.
