When will the power be turned off in the capital and regions of Ukraine on December 5, 2025
In Ukraine, on December 5, power supply restrictions continue to be in effect. Ukrenergo warns that simultaneously, from 0.5 to 3 groups of consumers will be turned off throughout the day, and residential and industrial users will operate according to hourly schedules. DTEK reports this writes.
Power outage schedule in Kyiv and regions on December 5
In Kyiv, power supply will be turned off according to a differentiated schedule.

The longest interruptions are expected for groups 1.1 and 1.2 — from 08:00 to 10:00 and 17:00–20:30.

Groups 3.1 and 3.2 will remain without power from 10:00 to 13:30 and from 20:30 to 23:00–24:00.

The least restrictions are defined for group 6.2 — from 13:30 to 17:00. The schedule can be checked through YASNO and DTEK services.
In the regions, similar rules apply:

Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Odesa regions operate according to hourly schedules, updates are available on the official websites of energy companies and in chatbots on Telegram and Viber.

In the Zaporizhia region, the longest outages are expected for groups 2.1 and 2.2 — from 07:30 to 12:30 and 16:30–21:30.

In the Kharkiv region, from 2 to 3.5 groups of restrictions will apply simultaneously.
Power outage schedule in the regions on December 5
In the western regions, online information services are operational. In the Lviv region, data is available in the section Why is there no power, and Telegram and Viber users automatically receive notifications.
In the Volyn region, the actual time may shift by 20–30 minutes, residents are advised to check the information on the energy company’s website or on Facebook. A similar system operates in Rivne, Ternopil, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions.
In the Poltava region, the largest restrictions are introduced from 14:00 to 18:00 — simultaneously turning off three groups. The least — between 00:00 and 06:00, when only 0.5 group is active.
Residents of Sumy can check the schedule through E-Svitlo or the mobile application, while residents of Chernihiv can do so via a chatbot using the personal account number.
In the Chernivtsi region, the eSvitlo.cv application is available for Android and iOS. Energy workers recommend following updates from official channels in all regions.
Earlier, we reported that NEC Ukrenergo is not responsible for specific power outages for residential consumers, only determining the overall amount of restrictions for the energy system.
