According to glavcom.ua: Nataliya Lenko claims that she received a disability group due to prolonged psycho-emotional stress during her work. After acquiring the disability status, she repeatedly refused high positions in the regional prosecutor's office. The described case of the prosecutor is regarded as an attempt to evade responsibility before the law.
The Qualification-Disciplinary Commission of Prosecutors held the prosecutor of the Cherkasy Regional Prosecutor's Office, Nataliya Lenko, accountable by prohibiting her from taking higher positions or transferring to a higher level prosecutor's office for one year. A complaint against the prosecutor was filed in April when she was accused of refusing to undergo a medical examination. Lenko missed several calls to the hospital, explaining this with personal reasons such as a child's illness and fear of rocket attacks.
The Ukrainian prosecutor's office applies strict measures to prosecutors who try to evade performing their official duties. In this particular case, Nataliya Lenko was banned for a year from advancing in her career to higher positions due to her refusal to undergo a medical examination, which may have been caused by various reasons, including fear and personal circumstances.
