Ukraine’s Constitutional Court Marks 30 Years with Insightful Online Lecture on Its Key Departments

Online Lecture: 'Faces of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine'

According to Конституційний суд: On September 17, 2026, a special online lecture titled 'Faces of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine' was held as part of a series of events celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Court’s establishment. The session aimed to provide an in-depth look at the operations of various departments within the Court, including:

• Personnel Management
• Communications and International Cooperation
• Administrative and Financial Department
• Accounting Service

The lecture featured judges Halyna Yurovska and Oleh Pervomaiskyi, alongside heads and staff members from the Court Secretariat’s divisions. Attendees included representatives from the National School of Judges of Ukraine, lawyers, scholars, postgraduate students, educators, university students, and members of the Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Department leaders responsible for the Court’s seamless functioning served as the main presenters.

Personnel Management is led by Serhii Chasnyk. Among the department heads are Anna Shevliak, who oversees staffing for judges and Secretariat employees, and Yulia Korenyak, responsible for the civil service affairs division. The Communications and Legal Monitoring Department is represented by Svitlana Pertseva, deputy head and division chief. International Cooperation is managed by Iryna Shevchenko, who serves as deputy head and division chief, currently acting as head of the department.

The Administrative and Financial Department, which manages IT infrastructure, the website, session recordings, cybersecurity, public procurement, and state property preservation, is overseen by Liubov Soloviova, deputy head and head of the Information and Communication Technologies Division. The Accounting Service is led by Natalia Polivanchuk, deputy head and chief of accounting and reporting.

Highlights from the Lecture

The event covered several detailed segments explaining the functions of these departments within the Court. At the conclusion, Judge Halyna Yurovska expressed heartfelt gratitude to every Secretariat employee for their dedicated service, especially under the challenging conditions of martial law, stating:
