According to glavcom.ua: Ukrainian literary heroine Lina Kostenko decided not to downplay metaphors when it came to the Russian president. In her view, the image of Satan and Putin have much in common. She also did not neglect to mention the head of the Russian Orthodox Church, calling him Kirill Gundyaev.

The poetess also did not forget to note the heroism of Ukrainians in their struggle against Russia, calling them 'a heroic people'. At 95 years old, she continues to support her literary activity and express her thoughts.
