Ukrainian basketball players Koval and Bobrov topped the European World Cup qualifying rankings

Two players from Ukraine's national qualifying team for the World Cup in basketball, Oleksandr Koval and Vyacheslav Bobrov, stood out with their impressive performances. Koval led the Ukrainian team to victory, averaging 29.5 points over two matches, thus becoming the leader in this category. Bobrov, on the other hand, stood out with the highest number of rebounds, collecting 26 in two games. The players' efforts brought victory in the match against Georgia, where Koval scored 31 points, and Bobrov recorded a double-double with 11 points and 15 rebounds for his team.

The Ukrainian team demonstrated a high level of play and a well-coordinated team spirit. The next qualifying gathering is scheduled for February 2026, and basketball fans are already highlighting the prospects of the Ukrainian team on the international stage.
