According to glavcom.ua: Roman Pohorilyi, co-founder of the analytical project DeepState, pointed out the specifics of the current war in Ukraine. He noted that there are problems with mobilization, recruitment, soldier motivation, funding, and volunteer support that affect defense capabilities.

According to Pohorilyi, the difficult years of 2024-2025 have their own challenges that differ from previous years. He emphasized that the cost of each year of war is substantial.

The analyst indicated that the gaps in Ukrainian defense are caused by a lack of people and resources to build a full-fledged defense system, which leads to the emergence of vulnerable spots.

The Ukrainian forces can hold the defense in some places, but due to a lack of personnel, they are forced to retreat, which Russian troops are using to advance.

The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, considered the insufficient mobilization due to a conducted virtual campaign a mistake of the country's internal policy.

Thus, the war in Ukraine unfolds with its own specifics, posing significant challenges for defense capabilities and the need for improvement in mobilization and support for military structures.
