Cruise Missile Strikes Hit Russia’s 'Energia' Plant in Lipetsk Region Supplying Military Equipment
Удар крилатих ракет завдав шкоди заводу Енергія в Липецькій області, що постачає військову техніку.

Missile Assault Targets 'Energia' Facility

According to ХВИЛЯ: Several cruise missiles struck the 'Energia' plant located in Yelets, within Russia's Lipetsk region. This factory produces batteries and power sources essential for Russia's defense industry, including those used in missile systems, aviation, and various military hardware. Ukrainian monitoring channels report that four to five cruise missiles may have hit the site.

The 'Energia' plant manufactures power units for:

  • 'Iskander-M' and 'Kinzhal' missile systems,
  • 'Pantsir' air defense complexes, and
  • guided aerial bombs.

This facility is currently under sanctions imposed by Ukraine, the United States, the European Union, and other countries. Yelets is situated about 300 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.

Recent Missile Strikes Deep Inside Russia

Over the past three days, multiple missile attacks have been recorded inside Russian territory. Notably, on October 23, the 'Baltimor' airfield in Voronezh and the 'Proton' optoelectronics factory in Oryol were targeted.

The assault on the 'Energia' plant highlights an intensification of Ukrainian operations aimed at crippling Russia's military capabilities. Given the plant’s role in producing critical components for Russia’s weaponry, its damage could significantly disrupt the Russian defense sector. These developments illustrate the ongoing escalation in the conflict between Ukraine and Russia, marked by strikes on strategic military-industrial sites deep within Russia.

For international observers, these attacks signal a shift toward targeting key infrastructure that supports Russia’s military efforts, reflecting the evolving nature of the conflict.
