Transfer of vehicles and humanitarian aid to Ukraine
According to МЗС: Latvia transferred 34 vehicles and humanitarian aid to Ukraine at the end of 2025. This convoy was organized by the charity organization 'Agendum' and included 21 all-wheel-drive vehicles (4×4) from AS 'Augstsprieguma tīkls'. Among the vehicles transferred were also two specialized vehicles for the evacuation of the wounded and one vehicle from the Saeima of the Republic of Latvia.
Additionally, Christmas gifts for Ukrainian children were delivered from the Saeima, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia, and the Embassy of Ukraine in Latvia. The gifts were sent with the support of:
- SIA 'MAXIMA Latvija'
- SIA 'Rimi Latvia'
- SIA 'Orkla Latvija'
Overall, Latvia has already transferred 3402 vehicles to Ukraine, indicating a long-standing cooperation between the countries in the field of humanitarian aid.
