Laundering over 9 million UAH by an MP: the investigation is over

NABU and SAP have completed the investigation regarding the suspicions against the people's deputy for laundering illegally obtained funds. It turned out that the money was transferred to the accounts of a close associate of the MP as payment for inconspicuous 'legal services,' and then spent on two expensive cars.

The influential MP promised to assist in obtaining permission for the transportation of mineral fertilizers for a certain fee. However, although the funds were transferred to his relative's account, no assistance was provided in resolving this issue.

Instead, the deputy created a complicated scheme to legalize illegal income.

Initially, over 9 million UAH was transferred to the accounts of a relative of the beneficiary as payment for dubious 'legal services.' Then, part of this money was redirected to another account and spent on the purchase of two very expensive cars – a BMW X5 M (F95) and a Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG.

Later, the MP himself began to openly use these cars, trying to create the impression that they were purchased with legal means.
