Athlete Dzeroginska became the champion of the European Youth Olympic Festival
According to glavcom.ua: Ukrainian athlete Polina Dzeroginska won gold at the European Youth Olympic Festival in hammer throw, achieving a result of 71.50 meters. She outperformed her opponent by more than 3 meters. This is already the ninth medal for the Ukrainian team and the fourth gold at this tournament.
Khazar Heydarov became the judo champion of the festival in the under 60 kg weight category. The Ukrainian confidently won in the final, defeating an opponent from Azerbaijan. After the victory, he admitted: 'I am very happy because the EYOF is a very important event for me. I prepared a lot for this competition, and everything worked out.'
Both athletes demonstrated a high level of skill and determination in the competitions, making Ukraine noticeable on the international sports market.
