The winner of 'Eurovision-2004' Ruslana Lyzhychko expressed her thoughts on the chances of singer LELÉKA at 'Eurovision-2026' and explained why the competition song Ridnym already stands out among other participants. The artist is convinced that the Ukrainian representative has every chance to captivate the international audience. This is reported by TSN.

Ruslana supported LELÉKA before Eurovision

Ruslana stated that she does not believe in bookmakers' predictions and considers that the outcome of the contest is determined directly on stage during the performance.

'Everything will depend on the artist herself: her state, energy, the signal she sends to the audience,' noted the singer.

At the same time, she emphasized that Ukraine made the right choice during the National Selection.

'After the 'National Selection' LELÉKA literally burst forth as one of the brightest musical phenomena of the modern Ukrainian scene,' declared Ruslana.

The song Ridnym was called unconventional for the contest

Separately, Ruslana drew attention to the competition composition Ridnym. According to her, the track significantly differs from typical contest pop music.

'This is not primitive pop and not an attempt to copy someone else. This is very refined Ukrainian pop music,' said the artist.

The singer also noted that the song combines modern sound, Ukrainian identity, and unconventional musical solutions that may appeal to the European audience.

Ruslana added that she was particularly impressed by the eclectic mix of styles, languages, and musical elements in the composition Ridnym.

LELÉKA will represent Ukraine at 'Eurovision-2026' after winning the National Selection final. During the selection, Ruslana publicly supported the artist and called her a 'gem.'

For Ukraine, LELÉKA's participation in the contest may become another attempt to showcase modern Ukrainian music to an international audience.

It should be noted that Ruslana, Lordi, and Serduchka will perform in the final of the jubilee Eurovision-2026 show.
