Passengers will enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi, power outlets, air conditioning, and a selection of drinks and snacks on board. Additionally, a new rail company called Silverstar Railways is set to launch in Vienna, operating twice weekly through September, with its final destination in the Salzkammergut region.
This new service is a significant step forward for Central European transport infrastructure, linking key cities across three countries. It also highlights growing competition in the European rail market, which could drive better service quality for travelers. The route is expected to boost regional tourism and improve access to Ukraine, especially relevant amid current political and economic challenges.
