The captain and leader of the Ukrainian women's basketball team, Alina Yagupova, has ceased collaboration with the Spanish club Valencia by mutual agreement. This information was released by the FBU.
The player's agreement with the club was valid until the end of the season. Alina Yagupova joined Valencia in January 2024 and quickly became one of the key players of the team. While with Valencia, she twice became the champion of Spain, winning the Spanish Cup and the Spanish Supercup, and also helped the team reach the semifinals of the women's EuroLeague.
