Lifecell speeds up MNP: new number activated the same day

The Ukrainian mobile operator lifecell announced that it has significantly expedited the number porting procedure. This was reported by the company's press service. Now subscribers can receive an activated number in the lifecell network on the same day, provided they submit their application before 10:30 AM (excluding Fridays and weekends).

The new timeframes became possible thanks to a decision by the National Commission for State Regulation of Communications and Informatization (NCCIR). Representatives of lifecell expressed gratitude to the regulator and all stakeholders for important steps taken to simplify the procedure for Ukrainian subscribers.

Leadership by subscriber choice

lifecell continues to hold a leading position in the number porting market. In the first eight months of 2025, 240,852 subscribers chose lifecell, accounting for more than two-thirds of all porting in the country. Since the launch of the MNP service, more than 757,000 subscribers have transferred their numbers to the lifecell network.
