Ukraine’s July Social Benefits Reach 89.8 Billion UAH

According to Пенсії (RSS): As of July 27, 2023, Ukraine had disbursed 89.8 billion UAH in social payments. Pensions accounted for 74.4 billion UAH, with 9.3 billion UAH distributed via Ukrposhta and 65.1 billion UAH through authorized banks. Housing subsidies and benefits received 1.4 billion UAH. These figures reflect the government’s efforts to support citizens during ongoing economic pressures.
Separately, insurance payouts totaled 3.0 billion UAH, of which 1.7 billion UAH covered sick leave. Social assistance and other payments consumed 11.0 billion UAH. During July, the Pension Fund of Ukraine handled 1,187.4 thousand services for individuals who approached its offices.
