Lobbyist Reporting Compliance at 39% as NACP Deadline Nears
According to НАЗК: The National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) is Ukraine's anti-corruption body responsible for overseeing the transparency of lobbying activities under the country's Lobbying Law.
Deadline for Lobbying Reports Approaches
The NACP has reminded all registered lobbyists that their semi-annual reports for the first half of 2026 must be submitted by 11:59 PM on July 31, 2026. As of now, only 73 reports have been filed, representing just 39.46% of the total required submissions.
How to Submit Reports
Reports must be filed electronically via the Transparency Register. Under Ukraine's Lobbying Law, every lobbyist is required to submit a report twice per year-even those who have terminated or suspended their registration status as of January 1, 2026. This means all registered lobbyists, regardless of current status, remain obligated to comply.
To assist with the process, the NACP held a webinar covering key aspects of lobbying report submission. A recording of the session and presentation materials are now available for review. Additionally, the agency has updated certain sections of the Transparency Register interface to streamline filing. These improvements aim to enhance transparency and user experience for all Register users.
The NACP's reminder about the approaching deadline underscores the importance of transparency in Ukraine's lobbying activities.
The interface updates and webinar demonstrate the agency's commitment to making the reporting process easier for lobbyists, potentially boosting overall compliance. Yet, with only a small fraction of reports filed so far, lobbyists may need to step up their efforts to meet their obligations.
