According to ХВИЛЯ: Lithuania has introduced a measure to simplify the process for Ukrainian citizens to obtain a driver's license. Starting February 9, 2026, the theoretical driving exam at Registration Centers can be taken in the Ukrainian language. Previously, the test was only available in Lithuanian, English, Polish, Spanish, and French. This change addresses a significant barrier for many refugees seeking to rebuild their lives.

Vladislav Kondratovich, a Lithuanian government representative, noted that the majority of Ukrainian citizens arrived in Lithuania fleeing the full-scale war launched by Russia.
