Ukrainian Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal met with a delegation from the Lithuanian Seimas led by Speaker Jozas Olekas. Emphasizing the importance of support and cooperation between the two countries, the possibilities for exchanging experiences in the defense industry and developing joint projects were discussed. It was noted that Lithuania has long been a reliable ally of Ukraine. Denys Shmyhal called on other partners for active participation in cooperation and exchange of experiences, especially in the field of protection against hostile drones. Possible steps for cooperation between Lithuania, Poland, and Ukraine were thoroughly considered. It was noted that the creation of a Lithuanian-Polish-Ukrainian brigade could serve as a basis for the exchange of military experiences and interaction between states. Ukraine also expressed gratitude to Lithuania for its support on the path to NATO membership, confirming its readiness for joint actions and cooperation for the benefit of promoting a peaceful future.
