Explanation regarding the mobilization of a caregiver for a sick father
According to glavcom.ua: For the first time, the Lviv Regional Military Registration and Enlistment Office explained the complex situation related to the mobilization of 44-year-old Volodymyr Malytskyi, who takes care of his seriously ill 82-year-old father. In an official statement, the military registration office recognized this situation as complicated, but asserted that they acted in accordance with the law.
According to information from the regional military registration office, the public resonance created around this situation is due to the complexity of the circumstances, as Volodymyr Malytskyi was a caregiver for a seriously ill relative. The military did not receive documents confirming this circumstance due to delays in issuing necessary papers.
The military enlistment office acknowledged that the reorganization of social protection authorities caused delays in obtaining certificates and confirmations that support the right to deferment from mobilization.
Despite this, the military registration office reported that they acted in accordance with the law and called for avoiding similar situations by preparing the necessary documents in advance and informing about specific circumstances.
It is worth noting that Volodymyr Malytskyi was mobilized despite his deferment as a caregiver for his seriously ill father. Due to the reorganization of the social protection department, the man did not manage to resolve the document issues in time, which led to unforeseen consequences.
The explanation from the military registration office allowed for a better understanding of the reasons for the conflict and emphasized the importance of timely document preparation in similar situations to avoid misunderstandings and negative consequences in the future.
