According to Главком: French President Emmanuel Macron made a state visit to Armenia’s capital. On May 4, during an official dinner in Yerevan, Macron performed the well-known French song “La Bohème.” The track belongs to Charles Aznavour, a French singer and actor of Armenian descent. While singing, Macron sat at a piano holding a microphone, and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan accompanied him on drums.

Journalist Agnès Vahramian posted video of the performance, writing:

“Emmanuel Macron sings ‘La Bohème’ to the drumbeat of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. State dinner in Yerevan. Music as a symbol of friendship.”

Meeting with Ukraine’s President

Also on May 4, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held talks in Yerevan with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. This visit marked the first time a Ukrainian president traveled to Armenia in 24 years.
