Maria Matios' ordeal: three days without electricity
According to Главком: Maria Matios shared about three days without electricity in her cottage under frost conditions of -16 degrees, which forced her to switch to autonomous sources of water and heating. The power outage lasted over 50 consecutive hours, complicating life not only for her but for many other residents as well.
According to Matios, power was restored during the day, however, by that time she had been engaged in household chores, particularly preparing firewood for heating. She also noted that the well, from which water was drawn, had been equipped over 20 years ago. It is worth mentioning that after the massive attack by Russia, approximately 6 thousand apartment buildings were left without heating, highlighting the seriousness of the situation.

The situation in Ukraine
The lack of electricity during the winter period is a serious problem for many Ukrainians, especially in the context of the energy crisis caused by military actions. The situation that not only private households but also apartment buildings find themselves in underscores the need for improvements in energy infrastructure and the implementation of new technologies to ensure energy supply stability.
It is important that such cases become a catalyst for the development of autonomous energy supply systems and support for the population in emergency situations.
