Drone Strikes Hit Odesa, Konotop, and Dnipro: Widespread Damage Reported
Odesa and Other Cities Under Attack
According to Главком: On May 20, Russian forces launched a drone assault on Odesa. The attack caused the following destruction:
- A single-story building was completely leveled;
- A multi-story residential building was struck;
- An infrastructure facility was hit;
- Warehouses and several vehicles were engulfed in flames;
- A city park sustained damage.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported in Odesa.
Other cities also came under fire. In Konotop, located in the Sumy region, an enemy strike hit a five-story building, causing three floors to collapse. Meanwhile, in Dnipro, food storage warehouses were damaged.
Municipal services have already begun clearing debris and addressing the aftermath of the strikes.
“An emergency operations center has been set up to provide necessary assistance to affected residents and to process applications for housing repairs,” stated Serhiy Lysak, head of the Odesa City Military Administration.
