Sumy Region Under Fire
According to Главком: Russian forces carried out a large-scale assault on Ukraine's Sumy region, targeting the city of Shostka and a gas station in Sumy city. The bombardment lasted several hours, involving attack drones and a wide array of weaponry. According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES), Shostka suffered the heaviest strike.
In Shostka, residential and non-residential buildings, administrative facilities, and vehicles were damaged. Fires broke out at multiple locations within the city. On Saturday morning, a Russian attack drone hit a gas station in Sumy city, also sparking a blaze. However, all fire hotspots in Shostka and at the Sumy gas station were extinguished. In several settlements of Poltava district, impacts and debris from drones were recorded. Vitaliy Dyakivnych, head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, reported that the shelling in Poltava district damaged:

- farm structures
- vehicles
- power lines
The situation in the region remains tense, but as of now, there are no reports of civilian casualties.
