According to Главком: A large-scale Russian attack on Kyiv during the night of July 6 caused widespread destruction across four districts of the capital. The assault left 11 people dead, including one victim who succumbed to injuries in a hospital the following morning. A total of 46 individuals were injured, with 27 hospitalized, among them three children. The Podilskyi district suffered the heaviest damage, where emergency response efforts are still ongoing.

Residential high-rise buildings in the Darnytskyi district were also hit. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed the incident, stating,

“There have been strikes on residential apartment buildings in the Darnytskyi district as well” – Vitali Klitschko

Rescue workers and medical teams are currently on site managing the aftermath of the attack. Cleanup operations are also underway in the Obolonskyi and Holosiivskyi districts.

In the suburb of Vyshneve, local authorities urged people to stay indoors because of the risk of secondary detonations.
