Fire in Hong Kong: 44 dead, hundreds missing due to plastic on windows

In Hong Kong, the fire that broke out in the residential complex Wang Fuk Court has been brought under control. Unfortunately, 44 people have died, and several hundred residents have been evacuated. Three individuals have been arrested on suspicion of involvement in this tragedy. The fire service predicts that it will take all day to extinguish the fire.
Smoke is rising from the buildings, but the fire has already been brought under control in four out of eight buildings. The disaster was classified as a level five danger, the highest level. This tragedy is reminiscent of an event that occurred in Hong Kong 17 years ago. Investigators continue to investigate the causes of the fire.
