According to Главком: France forward Kylian Mbappe has avoided a serious injury and is set to play in the 2026 World Cup semifinal against Spain, scheduled for July 14 in Dallas. He left the quarterfinal match against Morocco early, which France won 2-0, after requesting a substitution. Following his exit, he watched the rest of the game from the bench with an ice pack on the top of his right foot.

Mbappe reassured his teammates that it was just a bruise and expressed confidence that he would be fine:

He also celebrated France’s advancement to the semifinals by jumping and dancing in front of the French fans.
