З осені 2026 року McDonald's впроваджує нові правила роботи під час повітряних тривог у Полтаві та Чернігові.

Introducing McDonald's New Operational Guidelines During Yellow Air Raid Alerts

According to Рубрика — Суспільство: Since September 2026, McDonald's has been piloting a new approach to managing operations during yellow-level air raid alerts at its outlets in Poltava and Chernihiv. This initiative aligns with Ukrainian legislation that permits businesses to continue functioning under yellow alert conditions, provided that safety measures and threat monitoring are strictly observed.

Under these updated protocols, McDonald's restaurants in Ukraine will remain open for customer service during yellow alerts only when no immediate danger is detected, as verified by a real-time monitoring system. Should a threat arise or a red-level alert is declared, the restaurants will suspend operations promptly, directing both staff and customers to seek shelter.

"Starting this September, Ukrainian law allows businesses to operate during yellow air raid alerts, given compliance with established safety standards. We have adjusted our operational procedures accordingly and implemented a real-time air threat monitoring system accessible to our teams," stated McDonald's press service.

The rest of McDonald's outlets in Ukraine continue normal operations while following enhanced safety protocols. During any air raid alert, these locations temporarily close to protect employees and patrons, reopening only after the all-clear signal.

Expansion of McDonald's Presence in Ukraine

It is noteworthy that McDonald's continues to expand its footprint in Ukraine, having recently launched its 131st restaurant in Bukovel.

This trial of new operational standards during yellow air raid alerts represents a significant effort to adapt business practices amid evolving security challenges in Ukraine. The approach may serve as a model for other companies aiming to maintain operational continuity during heightened threat levels. Moreover, the ongoing opening of new outlets underscores McDonald's commitment to sustaining its presence in the Ukrainian market despite difficult circumstances. Such initiatives contribute to bolstering the country's economy amid instability.
