According to Главком: Mykhailo Fedorov announced his plans as the future Minister of Defense of Ukraine, emphasizing technological advantage, military reform, and the fight against corruption. He highlighted that the main guarantee of the state's security remains the Defense Forces and technological superiority over the enemy. In particular, Fedorov noted that artificial intelligence is already operating on the front lines at all levels of military operations.
Growth of the defense industry
As part of his plans, Mykhailo Fedorov pointed to a significant increase in the number of companies engaged in drone production, which has grown from 7 to over 500. Additionally, the number of companies in the field of electronic warfare (EW) increased from 2 to 200. Private missile production boasts over 20 companies, and the number of companies engaged in ground robotic systems exceeded 100. Currently, 50 units out of 400 provide 70% of enemy casualties.
Mykhailo Fedorov also stated the need for a rapid change in the training system for military personnel. He emphasized that the fight against corruption will be the cornerstone of the new Ministry of Defense. This indicates an intention to ensure transparency and efficiency in the agency's operations. All these steps are aimed at modernizing the army and increasing its combat readiness in the face of modern challenges.
