Ministry of Economy Updates Rural Development Strategy until 2030: What Will Change

According to Мін. Економіки: On November 20, a meeting took place between representatives of the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine and the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change (TBI). The participants discussed cooperation regarding updating the Rural Development Strategy until 2030.

The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen cooperation in strategic planning and reforming the agricultural sector, particularly regarding the update of the Agricultural and Rural Development Strategy in Ukraine for the period until 2030. The parties agreed on the importance of considering key challenges of wartime, consequences of infrastructure degradation, climate change, and other aspects.

'The development of rural areas encompasses not only agricultural production but also comprehensive changes,' the participants emphasized during the meeting.

Cooperation with the Tony Blair Institute opens new opportunities for modernizing agricultural policy and enhances strategic planning in the Ministry of Economy. This will contribute to the formation of a modern, innovative, and sustainable model for the development of Ukrainian rural areas.

The meeting between the Ministry of Economy and the Tony Blair Institute was an important step in developing collaboration aimed at updating the rural development strategy until 2030. Partnership and joint efforts in this direction can help create more innovative and sustainable conditions for the development of agriculture in Ukraine.
